Typical Day for Big Dogs
A typical day of boarding at All Breed Dog Boarding starts with breakfast and a clean kennel. Then it’s off for the first walk of the day! All dogs are walked throughout the day, which helps eliminate anxiousness and promotes good mental and physical health. The country setting, with its lush mowed fields, ponds, and old-growth wooded areas, provides the perfect environment for your dog to walk, exercise, or just sniff around. Then it’s Doggie-nap-time!
The afternoon and evening offer the same activities as the morning, so by the end of the day, the dogs are tired and ready to eat! To finish off the day, they are walked one more time, served their dinner, and tucked in for a good night’s sleep after their fun-filled day!
Typical Day for Small Dogs
All Breed Dog Boarding offers a unique approach to boarding for your little furry child! These kids differ from their bigger brothers and sisters; they are more sensitive to environmental changes, temperature, social structure, and metabolisms. We recognize these needs and offer an environment better suited to these necessities (please see facilities). Boarding for these little ones is more like a daycare!
A typical day for the little ones starts with a walk outside and then breakfast—it’s the first thing we do! All dogs are walked about eight times throughout the day, which helps eliminate anxiousness and promotes good mental and physical health. The country setting provides the perfect environment for your dog to walk, exercise, or just sniff around. We have a fenced 1-acre play yard that allows freedom and security. It’s all fenced, the grass is mowed short, and it’s only for the little dogs!
After the morning rituals, we turn on the monitors and start playing movies. The kids get to lounge on couches and play while enjoying the entertainment! The remainder of the morning is filled with socializing with staff and other furry friends, more walks, running, exercise, and of course…Doggie-nap-time.
The afternoon and evening offer the same activities as the morning, so by the end of the day, the kids are tired and ready to eat! To finish off the day, dinner is served, the kids are walked one more time, and then tucked in for a good night’s sleep after their fun-filled day!
We have three of these living room-type setups, which allow us to separate the young and more exuberant kids from the senior or very laid-back ones. Having these kinds of options ensures your dog will have the best possible stay with us and won’t be stressed by more playful dogs.
Typical Day for Senior Dogs
We are happy to accommodate these patriarchs of the household. We understand that not all the furry kids that come to All Breed Dog Boarding are young and spirited, and many of our regulars reach that golden age which requires special care and attention. Our staff is well-trained in the care and needs of these senior kids and keeps a watchful eye on their well-being.
A typical day starts early for these furry kids, with feeding breakfast, giving meds, etc., and then it’s out for a morning stroll. In addition to the basic care given, each senior’s day is governed by their physical ability and special needs. We allow for lots of peace, quiet, and doggie nap time.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have about your senior dog’s care and special needs during a planned stay.
